CHP unavailable/issue with online application form - Wednesday, 25 October 2018

Good morning all,


Just to make you aware, there is currently an issue with the Candidate Home Page on the website, which means candidates are receiving an error message when trying to access their CHP.


Also, there appears to be an intermittent issue applying online for roles. When a candidate clicks 'Apply', they are presented with an error message. The route of this issue has not been determined, although appears to be when a candidate accesses the website through certain browsers.


This has been reported to our technical teams and as soon as we know more, we will update you.

Following on from the announcement earlier - this still continues to be an issue.


The cause has been identified and are still working with our technical teams to resolve the issue and agreeing a time line of when this will be fixed.


We will update you, as always, as and when we know more.


We have received an influx of queries from candidates who are trying to apply for roles online and experiencing difficulties because of the issue. We are establishing closing dates for the roles candidates are applying for and if these are imminent, we will be in touch directly to discuss.

To confirm, we’re pleased to let you know that  the issues we experienced yesterday with the CHP and online application form  have now been resolved and service has now been restored.

 

This was due to a platform release  deployed by Madgex, which unfortunately interrupted our redirect with our 4MAT  integration, which caused the issue to occur.


WMJobs have carried out further  testing which has been positive, however we ask colleagues to undertake local  testing and inform us if you experience any further issues via the Service Centre.


We apologise again for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding whilst this was investigated.

To make you aware - it appears we are still experiencing intermittent issues with the online application form, whereby candidates are clicking 'Apply' and receiving an error message.


If we receive candidate queries, we are advising candidates to clear their cache and browser history. Also, we are advising candidates to login to their accounts, access their Candidate Home Page and then attempt to apply for a role, which tends to alleviate the issue.


We will keep you updated with further developments - we apologise once again for the issues this is causing.
