As part of Lumesse’s programme to achieve compliance with Global Data Protection Regulations and following the successful migration of their London hosted service for TalentLink, we can confirm our data centre migration to Amazon Web Services (AWS) will be taking place on Saturday 19th May 2018

Who will this impact?

The system will be unavailable for 15 hours while the migration tasks and testing are carried out, so the TalentLink system, WMJobs candidate homepage and online application process will NOT be accessible during this time.

Because of this we would strongly advise you to not have jobs closing over this weekend to prevent any potential impact to candidates whilst this work takes place.

What are the benefits of this change?
This move to AWS will bring additional security benefits such as storage encryption and increased controls on platform access by Lumesse themselves. A further result of this move is a removal of the sub processors currently retained under managed service agreements to manage firewall and databases for Lumesse.

Please see below the next steps, we strongly advise the relevant actions are in place in advance of the Talentlink AWS Data Migration, which will take place on Saturday 19th May 2018. You may wish to forward this information to your ICT colleagues for action.

Changes required for Talentlink access

Lumesse Talentlink will now move to several IP addresses, these are listed on the attached document under section 2) New public IP address for Lumesse TalentLink component. Please ensure they are added to your safelists. Failure to do so may result in users being unable to access the Talentlink system following the data migration.

Changes required for sending emails via Talentlink

The existing mail server IP address has also changed, the new address will need to be added to your SPF records. This will ensure that the current email masking setup remains in place. Failure to do this will result in emails being sent from “” rather than your own domain i.e.

The new email server address is outlined in the Service Migration guidance document under section 3) New addressing details for email server.

Following your review of this, if you have any questions please do get in touch with us by raising a new ticket via the service centre.
