A communication template I’ve created is the wrong ‘Document Type’ – what do I do?

Unfortunately, there is no way to change the Document Type of a Communication Template once it’s been created.


In this circumstance, you would need to create the template again, ensuring you select the correct Document Type at the stage of creation. The incorrect template can be archived. See pages 17-18 of the Communication Templates Training Guide for more information about archiving templates.
