Ad-hoc reports - how to rename columns

Modified on Thu, 01 May 2014 at 07:30 AM

If you use the ad-hoc reports tool to gather information about your job approval or selection process you may have noticed that steps are used.  For example, Step 1, Step 2, Step 3 etc.

Hopefully you are aware that these steps numbers relate to the step name in your configuration for the job approval/selection process.  For example; step 1 of the selection process is always pre - screening, step 2 is often shortlist.

Did you know that you can change the step 1, 2, 3 etc in your report and label as you require.  This may help understand the data more easily when the report is extracted.

To do this then check out:

> The column order tab within the ad-hoc report.

> Click on the column you want to rename first

> Then select the pencil icon just to the right of the columns box

You'll then have the option to re-name the column.
